Getting (un)stuck
There are times when I get stuck in life, for one reason or another. It’s never easy to define, but it’s so clear, you can almost touch it. Just like when you’re driving on a sunny day, music blasting, empty road ahead, and all of a sudden you hit traffic. Without really understanding what’s the hold-up, the whole life seems to be moving in slow motion, and time is passing seemingly quicker than ever before. It feels like a blocked chakra (if only I understood the concepts of chakra and energy). Like every improvement you are trying to make is taking you five steps back.
I absolutely hate these moments, because they can last for days, weeks or months. But I also know how precious they are — without many of those that happened in the past, I wouldn’t be where I am today.
And they always mean one thing. Change is coming.
Couple of weeks ago, we discovered a very fancy cinema close to our new house. It has a dining room, and all the screenings feel very selected — a combination of modern, old and generally quirky films. I don’t need to catagorize the one we went to see. It’s enough if I tell you it’s in Danish, and that lasts two and a half hours.
