I am European but from a non-EU country in the south east. Every time, it’s a longer passport check line for me than my EU partner, more questioning, more likely to get selected for random additional search… it’s demeaning. The West claims they are all about diversity and inclusion, but that’s only under a very narrow definition. Passport privilege is real, and completely ignored. Having a “right” passport can change your life.
